As a chapter, we are committed to finding new and different ways to support our members and their professional needs. Our ATD Greater Atlanta Communities of Practice (CoPs) are designed with you in mind!

CoPs provide unique learning opportunities where members can meet in smaller groups to learn about industry trends, try out new skills, network with peers, and grow professionally.

Our events are rich learning opportunities that aim to give each attendee tangible takeaways and a safe space in which to practice.

All CoP meetings are open to ATD Atlanta members as a part of your membership!

Volunteer

Our CoPs also provide a wonderful opportunity to become personally involved in your Atlanta Chapter. This is your opportunity to meet with others working in a similar industry, or with similar interests.

We have a variety of ways to volunteer. CoP chairpersons continuously seek:

Assistance in topic and speaker selection
Meeting planning, attendee registration
Other key support activities.

You can volunteer as much time or as little as you like!

Career Development

A community of learning professionals interested in advancing their own careers and helping others develop their skills and expertise.

Learning Technologies

A community of forward-thinking training professionals using technology and learning to develop the future workforce. From e-learning and simulations to social and mobile learning, the Learning Technologies Community of Practice gives learning and technology professionals access to the content, research, trends, tools, and network that will continue to keep them ahead of the curve.

Human Capital

The Human Capital and Workforce Development CoP provides a forum to learn, practice, and gow in the areas of hiring, onboarding, change management, culture and diversity, and people development initiatives. It's the perfect community for anyone focused on managing people, developing talent, fostering innovation, and improving performance.

Independents, Networking & Collaborating

Independents, Networking and Collaborating CoP members share practical information designed to address the challenges and the opportunities of being an independent. The INC CoP provides its members with business-related knowledge, tools, and solutions that cultivate and promote growth for independents and business owners.
